Affiliate Link Disclosure

This post contains affiliate links. That means if you click on a link to a product, I may receive, at no extra cost to you, a small commission when you make a purchase. Thank you for your support.

Picture of Dollar BillsThe phrase above appears at the top of most of my blog posts. You may be wondering what this means and, indeed, many people ask me how the Survival With Kids website makes money.

As you can see, I don’t currently sell any products of my own, nor do I directly resell any products made by anyone else. I also don’t use Google AdSense or any other outsourced advertising.

How I currently make money is called “Affiliate Marketing”. When I blog about a topic, I regularly include links to products on other websites. Those links include a unique code which tells the website who referred you. If you then purchase something from that other website (regardless if it was the product I linked to or not), I receive a commission, i.e. a percentage of the sale.

I Currently Participate In The Following Affiliate Programs:

Amazon.com – Commission: Varies from 4% to 10%

Target.com – Commission: Varies from 1% to 8%

Walmart.com – Commission: Varies from 1% to 4%

Wal-Mart.com USA, LLC

SamsClub.com – Commission: Varies from 1% to 4%
